About KitchDaily

Hi, I'm Zisan, the creator of KitchDaily.

I share easy recipes, practical cooking tips, and everyday meal inspiration to help home cooks create delicious meals with confidence. My goal is to make cooking simple, enjoyable, and accessible for everyone.

No culinary degree, no fancy studio. Just a real kitchen, a full stove, and recipes I actually cook for my own family.

Our Story

Cooking started as a way to feed my family. It became KitchDaily.

I didn't set out to build a recipe site. I was just cooking dinner most nights, the way most people do, and figuring out what worked through trial and error. Some nights it landed. Some nights I remade the whole dish before anyone sat down.

My wife is the first person who tastes everything. She's not shy about telling me when a dish needs more salt, more time, or a completely different approach. If she asks for the recipe afterward, I know it's ready to share.

"If my wife goes back for a second plate, the recipe goes on the site. If she doesn't, I'm back in the kitchen figuring out what went wrong."

Why KitchDaily Exists

Recipes for a normal weeknight, not a cooking show

Most recipe sites are written by people who cook for a living, with equipment and time most of us don't have. KitchDaily is built around the opposite: a regular kitchen, ingredients from a regular grocery store, and a recipe that has to work on a Tuesday night after a full day of work.

Every recipe here gets cooked at home before it gets published. If a step is confusing when I follow my own instructions, I rewrite it until it isn't.

What You'll Find Here

Three things I focus on

Everyday recipes

Weeknight dinners, weekend meals, and dishes built from ingredients you can find at any regular grocery store.

Practical cooking tips

Storage times, substitutions, and fixes for the small problems that come up mid-recipe, explained in plain language.

Meal inspiration

Ideas for what to cook when you're out of ideas, organized so you can find something in minutes, not hours.

How I Work

How a recipe gets from my kitchen to this site

1

I cook it first

Every recipe starts on my own stove. I don't publish anything I haven't made myself, start to finish.

2

My wife tastes it

She tells me if the flavor, texture, or timing is off. If it doesn't pass, I go back and cook it again.

3

I write it for a beginner

No assumed knowledge, no vague steps like "cook until done." Times, temperatures, and what to look for.

4

I keep it updated

If a reader flags something that doesn't work, I retest the recipe and correct the post.

How I keep this site honest

  • Every recipe on KitchDaily is tested in my own kitchen before it's published.
  • I write every article myself, based on real cooking, not guesswork.
  • I'm not a chef or a dietitian. For medical or dietary concerns, talk to a professional.
  • When a recipe needs a fix, I update the post and note what changed.

Some links on KitchDaily are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what I recommend.
