Short version: Every recipe here is cooked and tested in my own kitchen. Photos are shot there or are licensed stock images. AI tools sometimes help with drafting, and I read through everything before it goes live. If you want to reference or share something from KitchDaily, this page tells you how.

Section 01

How a Recipe Gets Made

Nothing goes up on KitchDaily without going through my own stove first. I develop the recipe, cook it start to finish in my kitchen, adjust it if something’s off, and only then does it get published.

My wife is usually the one tasting alongside me, and her feedback often changes a step or an ingredient amount before a recipe is finished. The measurements and instructions on this site are original work made specifically for KitchDaily, not pulled from elsewhere. Photos are covered in Section 04.

Section 02

Where Our Ideas Come From

Home cooking is one long conversation between cooks, so I don’t pretend every idea starts with me. A recipe here might be built on a technique passed down in someone’s family kitchen, a dish from a regional cuisine, or a version of something popular at a well-known restaurant chain.

When a recipe is styled after a specific restaurant dish or brand-name product, I say so in the post itself. That mention is there to give you context on the flavor profile, nothing more. It doesn’t mean that restaurant or brand had any part in making the recipe or endorses KitchDaily in any way.

Section 03

Referencing Outside Information

For things like safe cooking temperatures, storage windows, or nutrition figures, I check reputable references such as USDA FoodData Central and FDA food safety guidance before a post goes live. Any number or fact drawn from those sources is written in original wording to fit the recipe, never lifted as a copied paragraph.

I hold other food writers’ work to the same standard I’d want mine held to, so if you’re citing outside sources on your own site, do the same.

Section 04

Photos & Video

Every photo on KitchDaily was either shot in my kitchen or is a properly licensed stock image I’ve paid to use. Nothing is pulled from another food blog, a stranger’s Instagram, or a random image search.

Downloading, reposting, or reusing our photos and video elsewhere requires written permission first. This applies even if you plan to credit us.

Section 05

Sharing Our Content

Want to mention a KitchDaily recipe somewhere else? Here’s the line between what’s fine and what isn’t.

Need something outside these lines, a licensing deal, a syndication request, anything else, reach out through the contact page and we’ll talk it through.

Section 06

Getting Credit Right

If you think we’ve credited a source incorrectly, or missed crediting one entirely, tell us. Mistakes happen, and I’d rather fix a citation than leave it wrong. Send the specific page and what needs correcting to info@kitchdaily.com or through the contact page, and I’ll look into it directly.

Section 07

Where AI Fits In

I’d rather be upfront about this than have you guess. AI tools sometimes help with drafting or organizing parts of an article’s research. They don’t cook, they don’t taste, and they don’t decide what makes it onto the site. Every recipe published here has been personally made and eaten in my kitchen, and every article gets a human read-through before it goes live.

Section 08

Updates to This Page

As the way we source or create content changes, this page will change with it. Any update gets a fresh date at the top so you can tell when something’s shifted.

This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Affiliate Disclosure, and Terms & Conditions. Worth a read if you want the fuller picture of how KitchDaily operates.
